17th Edition Training

C&G 2382-10 17th Edition Wiring Regulations Full

This 17th Edition course is intended for practising electricians with relevant experience. It is also suitable for anyone who requires a basic working knowledge of the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, including individuals involved with design, supervision and specifications.

C&G 2382-12 17th Edition Update (2 days)

This course is designed for people who have already achieved a 16th Edition qualification. Delegates will be updated with the main additions and changes introduced by the BS7671:17th Edition Wiring Regulations and the changes introduced by Amendment 1.

17th Edition Wiring Regulations Amendment 1

This half-day theory course covers the regulation changes being introduced by the First Amendment to the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, published in July 2011.

Inspection & Testing

C&G 2392-10 Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification

This inspection and testing course is designed for electricians who test and commission new installations. It is ideal for those with little experience of the inspection and testing process.

C&G 2391-10 Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations

This City & Guilds 2391 theory-based inspection and testing course is aimed at electricians with previous experience of inspection and testing and a good working knowledge of the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations. City & Guilds certification is achieved on successful completion of both the practical assessment and written examinations.

2391 Revision Course

This City & Guilds 2391 theory-based inspection and testing course is aimed at electricians with previous experience of inspection and testing and a good working knowledge of the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations. City & Guilds certification is achieved on successful completion of both the practical assessment and written examinations.

Practical Training Day for 2391

This practical course is designed to complement the 2391-10 theory course. It gives candidates hands-on experience of testing electrical installations, covering all the circuit types included in the 2391-10 practical assessment. Taught in small groups of no more than six, every delegate will gain experience on an individual test board.

C&G 2391-20 Design, Erection & Verification

Formerly known as the City & Guilds 2400, the Design, Erection & Verification course follows on from the 2391-10 Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations qualification.

Testing Refresher Course

This practical course is ideal for anyone preparing for NICEIC, ELECSA or NAPIT assessment, or for anyone who simply needs a refresher on how to test electrical installations.

Portable Appliance Testing

C&G 2377-12 Portable Appliance Testing

This course is suitable for anyone who undertakes inspection and testing of portable electrical equipment, as well as anyone responsible for managing electrical equipment maintenance. Although theory-based, the course includes a practical exercise using test instruments.

Solar Photovoltaic

Logic Solar Photovoltaic Installer Course

This course is designed for qualified electricians who want to expand their knowledge and skills to include installation of solar photovoltaic systems.

G59 Large Scale Solar PV Course

This course covers the requirements for experienced domestic solar PV installers to undertake larger PV projects, up to 100Kwp

MCS Course

This course is designed for qualified electricians who want to expand their knowledge and skills to include installation of solar photovoltaic systems.

Solar Photovoltaic Surveyor Course

This one-day course has been especially designed for solar PV sales or estimating staff who need to carry out site surveys and explain the benefits of PV systems to potential customers.

Working at Height

This working at height training course provides delegates with an overall understanding of work at height (WAH) hazards and equipment selection for use in such work. An understanding of the regulations affecting work at height and an awareness of hazards associated with the various types of equipment.

Domestic Installer Training

Intensive Electrical Course

This course has been designed to provide electrical knowledge and skills for those wishing to begin a new career in the electrical industry. With a mixture of theory and practical training you will learn all the essentials you need to get started on the road to becoming a qualified electrician.

Electrical Awareness

EAL Certificate in Electrical Awarenss

This course is suitable for anyone who needs a basic appreciation and awareness of how to work safely with electrical equipment (for example maintenance staff). Training involves a mixture of basic electrical theory and some practical exercises.

Building Regulations

C&G 2393-10 Certificate in the Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings

This theory course is suitable for electricians and people working in other building trades who need an understanding of how domestic electrical installations must comply with all relevant Building Regulations.
